TPU film is a thermoplastic polyurethane film that has good physical, chemical and mechanical properties in application fields. Clothing and textile fields: TPU films can also be used for windproof, dustproof and UV protection functions.

Packaging industry: TPU films are often used in the packaging industry to make adhesive tapes, packaging films, air cushion films, etc. TPU film has good softness, tear resistance and abrasion resistance, and is suitable for protecting products from scratches, tears and squeezing.

Medical devices: Because TPU film has excellent biocompatibility and chemical resistance, it is widely used in medical devices. Common applications include medical packaging, surgical aprons, blood pressure cuffs, etc.

Conventional TPU films are generally said to be heat-resistant to 80°C, which means that their long-term use temperature cannot exceed 80°C, otherwise the service life will be seriously reduced. There are also heat-resistant TPU films, which are said to be able to withstand temperatures up to 130°C. There are also TPU films modified with glass fiber, which have a very high heat-resistant temperature.

TPU film can become a substitute for PVC. TPU film can not only be bonded to various fabrics, but can also be used to produce products with clear outlines and stable dimensions using vacuum thermoforming. With the continuous improvement of domestic environmental protection awareness, the application of TPU is becoming more and more widespread. Among them, the areas with the fastest growth rate are: shoe upper linings, thermal underwear, transparent underwear, transparent shoulder straps, elastic bands and medical breathable tapes.
